1985 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

This 1985 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is one of just 148 left-hand-drive saloons completed during a 12-year production run. Chassis 12501 left the factory on November 11, 1985 and was one of the last of the V580 BBS models built. It was sold to its first owner by Autocenter Safenwil of Zurich in September 1987, and remained in Switzerland with three subsequent owners. A mechanical refresh was carried out in 2017 by marque specialists Nicholas Mee & Company of the UK. Work included rebuilding the differential, overhauling the suspension with a Harvey Bailey handling kit, rebuilding the steering rack, repairing the radiator, and installing a new clutch. The original 5.3-liter quad-cam V8 remains fitted and powers the rear wheels through the original ZF five-speed manual transmission. Finished in Kensington Silver over dark blue Connolly leather. Offered with copies of original build documents, service records, an owner’s manual and service voucher booklet
