1963 Jaguar XKE Roadster

This 1963 Jaguar XKE is a Series I roadster that was completed on October 18, 1962, and distributed via Jaguar Cars of New York.

Completely restored in 2015.

Restoration work involved refinishing the body in its original color of Cream, and installing a completely new Red leather interior, as well as rebuilding all of the mechanical, chassis, and electrical systems; including the born-with 3.8-liter inline-six cylinder engine. This car is equipped with a replacement four-speed synchromesh manual transmission from a 4.2 Liter E Type, which was rebuilt in July 2023.

Additional features include a black soft top, 15″ knock-off wire wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a stainless steel dual exhaust system, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM push-button radio.

Recent service performed included adjusting the carburetors, installing an electronic ignition, replacing the fuel pump, and a new clutch.

This Jaguar E-Type is in need of nothing to be enjoyed.
